Ice conditions on Lake Of The Woods

Has any body been up there to check on the ice conditions?

I have also been wondering the same thing. I’m craving some ice

Word is she’s locked up!!!!! Keep the wind down and no snow for a few days we should be fishing. Zipple bay (bay area) had 5 inches as of the 24th. SO CLOSE!!!!!

Thats what I have heard to. Some walking in the bay yesterday. Maybe 4 wheelers this weekend.

I was curious if the water was stained when it froze up like it was a few years back. I mean coffee like.

Just thinking out loud here but I would think that as dry as it has been this year the flow should be down. So the water should be on the clear side like last year. Just my two cents.

There are people out on Red Lake today, so it shouldn’t be too much longer.
