Wigwam Resorts Fishing Report for June 28, 2012. High winds earlier this week prevented even our launches from going very far out into the big lake. Fortunately lots of walleyes and saugers are still around Pine Island. Pulling spinners with night crawlers had more action than being anchored and jigging with a minnow. The action is really good but you might have to weed thru the smaller fish first. The weather for the rest of the weekend will be in the mid 80’s with winds 9 to 19 mph. Fishing will be great on the big lake in 26’ to 31’ feet, as well as Knight, Bridges, and Oak Island and all points in between!
