A Trip For The Books!

    Jamie, Charles, and myself headed up Thursday night for another go on the river, and what an out of this world trip it was! We pitched Moxi’s and Pulse R’s with 1/4oz jigs into 2 to 6ft of water, slowly bouncing and dragging back to the boat. Walleyes were smashing these baits! We caught fish on a variety of colors. Doubles were common and we got a few triples too.The day one total was 230 walleyes for 3 guys! Saturday our total was 88 fish, so alot slower for us. We did the math and time spent fishing and catching was a walleye for every 3.96 minutes! We spent around 2 hours towing a biat from near Frontier back to Birchdale as well. We had a blast and I can’t wait until next year!

    Thanks for stealing an outdated unit that doesn’t even except a chip. I hope you needed it more then Charles did. Thanks for closing my tailgate too, I appreciate it.

    Sounds like the bite is unreal. 2 buddies were up yesterday n today and at last check about 10 am they were at 10 fish over 28″ including 2 30s and a 31.75″.

    Awesome photo’s and pix Trav!! Buddy and myself had similar numbers119 Thurs, 74 Fri., 92 Sat, but we are not quite the photogs your guys are.

    Pulse-R’s and Moxies. Unreal bite. Hope the stars align again like that in my lifetime. Couple of the okay pix.

    You kicked out butt in mins / fish!. According to my math, we were at 6.31 mins/fish
