So now that we know that the river is fishable, can anybody pipe in how the river is looking in terms of clarity. As of yesterday looks like the little fork was on its way down and stabilizing, so if clarity is good, and given date/photo period, and water temps I am hoping to see some big fish pics in the next couple of days.

i’d like to think there are plenty of males upstream by now (based on previous years fishing this time of year, with waves of big mommas about three days behind, if the river isn’t all mucked up of course).

Anyways any help would be great. Don’t know if I’ll be able to make it is year, just started a new job and may not be able to get two days off in a row, it’s torturing me!

Oh well at least i enjoyed a solid winter of fishing pool 4, with some great days the last month and a half.

Have fun and enjoy your time up there to those that get to go. Hard to match the rainy river when things are “right”.

Hoping to head up there on Thursday. Just hoping I’ll be able to launch a fiberglass boat.

The Rain appears to be heading south of us. Bigger females are starting to show up. Buddies put a few over 27 yeserday. 40-50 fish in that 17-20 inch class.
