I’m heading off to lotw Thursday in pursuit of walleye and I have never been. I’m wondering how the fishing is up there right now and any tips/tricks to help make my first time a successful trip.

From what I have heard the shiners are running and the vertical jigging bite is on. There have been a few recent posts in the LOTW forum here. Read them over and that should help you. Look forward to hearing how you did. We head up next week Thursday for a few days. Good Luck
