    anyone please tell me where everyone is loading and unloading there boats. i would like to go out tommorrow but baypoint covill and the back channel all have gates blocking them. is everts still open.

    Everts has been the only ramp open for over a week now. I know some guys were still in at Evert’s today and I had seen some guys go around the barriers at the back channel last weekend but I am not sure if that is legal. At least not advisable

    Fished the past three days and Everts is open and I launched there with no problem. Only a handfull of parking spots but they are shuttling you up & dowm the hill. Just be patient as there is only one ramp or get there early.

    At 5 pm tonight there were about 10 rigs in the back channel parking lot. Either they had hip boots to launch with or they got wet.

    They’re heading towards the second crest…so the water today is higher than last years highest.

    As Dean says, this is not the time to learn boat loading in current. PFD’s worn would be the smart thing to do even if you have a big ego.
