What would I look at for MPG on this engine? Not sure how to look it up even.

What are you planning on teaming it with? I think that the boat you plan on putting it on will have a big impact on the “MPG’s”.

Shoot I was pretty generic here. It’s a 2007 engine on a 16 foot alumacraft navigator. I’m tying to get from Key west to Tartuga. I know its nuts but if mileage is ok, i’m going for it.

Just out of interest, is that about a 75 mile run at best?

Ummm, not sure where in the keys your coming from but that is a long haul regardless. Things change weather wise pretty quickly down there that make the Mississippi Flood Current look like a cake walk. Anything that you have to “Try to go for” does not sound like a good idea. Lots of things can go wrong. I think your nuts. Nothing personal, just my opinion.
