Ok, who else watches Top Shot ? I can’t take it anymore… this George is an azz… he thinks he is the greatest. He just lost, in the 1000 yard shot to another shooter. t was a timed event to hit a 1000 yard target. Does he realize, when your a sniper (which he is), if you shoot a guy 1000 yards away with 1 shot in 30 seconds, but the other sniper shoots at you 3 times and hits you in 26 seconds… your dead before your shot…??? He is an idiot and does not represent the military very well in my opinion. Am I alone thinking this way , for anyone else who watches ??? Plus he makes fun of Jay, the golf coach and has no respect for him, because he is not ex-military…??? Again, in my opinion, not representing the uniform very well. Not what I learned in the service anyways.

Well, if ya only get one shot…I’m not sayin, I’m just sayin…
That wasn’t the competition…he and all the shooters knew that. It wasn’t just accuracy, it was speed and accuracy. And then to make excuses.. I am just sayin’, makes him a sore loser. And then to top it off, the guy he wanted eliminated, won, so he says “F&#% you” to the guy ??? :doah
April 6, 2011 at 1:56 am #954407I am glad Jay is gone. Best tuesday night for me since the season started.
Good show to watch but its tough now with twins season!
April 6, 2011 at 2:22 am #954409Watched it a couple times, must say from what I’ve seen I agree with big g, couple of those guys act like donkeys but I guess there has to be drama to make the show work.
Not a big fan of the format of it with the 4 guys voting based on personal and not performance.
April 6, 2011 at 10:51 am #954443I kinda wanted Jay to go all the way..well at least beat out the hot shot george.
Jay is that odd duck who shouldn’t have gone as far as he did, gotta give him credit for that I’d think.
I have to remind myself this is a typical reality show and not a shooting competition, still fun to watch.
A day on the range trying some of them challenges would be a blast..:)

April 6, 2011 at 11:19 am #954451G, I totally agree with you. I think George is a drama queen and has worked it to his benefit. He has turned everyone against Jamie. I would have liked to see George in a few of those elimination rounds. I’m not so sure he would have gone as far as Jamie has.
And what he said after the elimination round made me gag too. What an
April 6, 2011 at 11:21 am #954452I worn the service uniform, although I was nothing more than a pencil pusher. Never saw the show, but obnoxious service uniforms are plenty.
April 6, 2011 at 11:58 am #954469Alright I’m just sayin’. you have to keep in ind sometimes what guys do before you jump on them. The Guy is a sniper/instructor. You don’t think you have to have a bit of an ego and attitude to do his job? I don’t think he had ANY desire to win the competition as he knew others behind him were going to elimination. To him his job came through and took over. ONE SHOT! that is what he’s paid to do. Not speed. and if another sniper were to actually see him while he’s in the field and miss on the 1st shot, I don’t think he would be too worried about the 2nd shot as he wouldn’t be there for it.
Every job takes a certain person to do it, and honestly if his job is to take another human life I’m glad he can do it in one shot, and HE better think he’s the best.
YEah he would make a terrible customer service rep. But that’s not what he does so he doesn’t have to have the same attitude.
April 6, 2011 at 12:11 pm #954474I agree with Big G – George is just really tough to watch/listen to regardless of anything else.

Ah…fine, but he’s not shooting anybody here, he’s in a timed competition, a bit different that off killing someone in war…imho

April 6, 2011 at 12:42 pm #954489Agreed… George is an a$$clown, but he’s also pretty good and that’s exactly what they want on reality shows. I’d like to see Chris Reed win. He seems like a good ole fashioned country boy who not only competes but has respect for everyone else.

sandmanndPosts: 928April 6, 2011 at 3:05 pm #954550I’m not a fan of George at all. I could never stand Jay either. I’d have been happy for either to go.

Exactly…. there are no excuses for his excuses… case in point…on the battle field, if another sniper cracks off at him, 3 times and cracks old George on the third shot, while George is still setting up for the 1 kill shot.. it’s TOO LATE !!!!
I agree, Chris Reed or Joe. Joe earned alot of my respect last night, by truely being upset, he wasn’t nominated, for not hitting the 1000 yarder at all Class act
April 7, 2011 at 11:57 am #954799It goes with a stereotype, that the jerk and thickskinned profile does something to a person. The idea is to remain calm in the face of turmoil. Basically you get to tune them out or get enough exposure to it, you become desensitized by it. What is comes down to it, for some people it’s an act for others it’s their true side. When service personnel returns home, just show them a little compassion because they haven’t been given much of it away from home.
