I wish I had a photo of Chris out there collecting them!
April 5, 2011 at 5:30 pm #954254If anyone happen to see Celebrity Apprentice this last week, the team Backbone’s Project Manager (whoever he is) had St Judes Children’s Hospital as his charity.
Everyone’s heard the over used phrase “it’s all about the children”. Well, it’s not used often enough when it comes to St Judes.
No child is ever turned away because of ability to pay. They research rare forms of cancer that other hospitals can’t.
Corey had the privilege of going down there to see what the funds that he and Chris raise does for the kids. Something I could never do with out several boxes of Kleenex.
The person that came up with the idea to hold a Bass Tourney that raised money for The Children of St Judes was a genius!
Forget about the raffles, the drawing, the silent auctions and great food at Gopher Hills.
Go for the children.

I have had a couple of life changing experiances 1 marrying my wife 2 my kids (little chits ) 3 loss of my father BUT after visiting those little bald headed kids and seeing what they have to go thru at such a tender young age it really gives you a completely different perspective on life. Working with St Judes for the past 12 years is truly one of the most rewarding things I have ever done and couldn’t imagine not trying to help those little kids.
its true
I do it for the kids
hope to see you all there

Jesse doesn’t know it but he’s buying me dinner tonight.
This is one of the only things I could think of that would make me hang around with a bunch of bassholes.
