Hello everyone, I did not make it to the show this past weekend, so here I am begging for a little info. Im looking for references for a good resort and lake where I can get a 3 bed cabin and pontoon for the family. Im hoping to get on some sunnys for the kids and eyes for dad. Please share your favs and anyother info you can. Thank you all so much.

Have a great open water season (if the ice melts)

Check out Cutfoot Souix Inn on Winni/Cutfoot Souix.

I’m not sure if they have a toon anymore, but they have everything else your looking for.

BK Read my mind, or at least part of it. Winnie & Cut Foot would be a great location. I saw plenty of rental toons there last year while fishing a couple different MTT’s and it’s just all around, a great location, great lake, with a great varity of fishing.
He’s a link to Winnie resorts.

McArdles or High banks would be a couple to consider being more family vacation.
    Just food for thought

    The Red Door Resort<<

On Mille Lacs we have a sponsor resort which is the Red Door. I know there’s panfishing in near by lakes…Mille Lacs isn’t known for it’s panfishing…but smallies bite like sunfish at times!

Go to MN/Mille Lacs Forum and look for a post from the Red Door, they have a ton of info from that area and can help point you in the right direction.

Tamarack Lodge on Winnie has a great pool for the kids and pontoon. Calmer area of the big lake also. They were a sponsor on here at one time. Not sure anymore.

McArdles Resort on Winnie is kid friendly, nice pool and quiet setting after 9pm. At least that how it was last time I was there.

We have been going to Wildwood Resort on Bass Lake near Grand Rapids. Bass Lake is a smaller lake but is a great bluegill fishery. The kids have a blast catching the large gills. The resort is very family oriented and run by some great folks.

Thanks everyone, this is just one of many examples of why I love this site the people here are friendly and willing to help another fisherman.

    Thanks again
