I have several Church Walleye boards, as well as a couple of off shore boards. I prefer the Church boards. They work very well for me. I really like the built in line pin. That makes them very easy to remove from your line.

I have two ‘birds, two church, and 4 offshores, bought in that order. When fishing alone,I use the offshores. When fishing with someone else aboard,I use the church boards too. I’ll replace them one day soon, with offshores.

The birds just take up space in my basement….That’s what happens when I buy cheapest, first – it ends up being a waste of money.

I like the offshore. My experience with church boards hasn’t been that favorable.

For the most part, I run Offshore boards when I’m walleye fishing and use my Church Walleye boards when pulling lead core on Lake Michigan.
Both are very good boards in my opinion.

Got to go Off Shore boards, and depending on what you are fishing the Mini Board might be a good alteranative.

It’s all off-shore for me. We had 4 Church boards at first, but I find the off-shores to ride that much better. For some reason our church boards would occaisionally catch a wave and nose dive under water (which is not a good thing).

That was my experience with church boards as well. I have since found that it is possible to adjust the church boards to keep that from happening. I still like the way the off shore run better though.

I have both kinds and they work great although I prefer the offshore boards when trolling spinners because they have the tattle flags.

I have Church boards the TX22`s and have good luck with them. Nice thing about Church boards is they work right out of the box with any kind of line. Offshores if using braid have to replace the release. The Church TX22`s are designed to stay upright with lite lures, spinners, ultra slow presentations, or if I have to stop for some reason.
