Approaching 4 hours to game time! Should be a good night to settle in with some and snacks and catch the season opener!

Can’t wait to get this thing going!

1′ – 3′ of snow across much of my front yard. 18″ across the entire backyard. I love the Twins but I might need a few more weeks to really get into it.

Goona’ have to get to the 2nd round of the play-offs to get me excited…Heck, I would take a win in a 3 game series! I’ll watch but can’t get over the frustration of losing to the Yanks year after year after year! …RR

I’m SO ready! Snow in my yard, or not!! What a change from last years dream spring tho. Probably a good thing the first 2 series are on the road. Hope we have the weather straightened out by home opener. GO TWINS!!

Wake me up in October If we’re still playing. Sorry, I just get tired of being teased every year. Division titles do nothing for me.

They are by far the best thing MN sports has going right now! Go Twins.

    Can’t start soon enough.

    Go Twins

I sure hope they can stay healthy and just maybe beat the Yanks a few times. That we will find out pretty soon.

ITH, I’ll be there with ya. Hopefully we get weather like we had for last years home opener.

I thought the Brewers were going 162-0 until Axford blew the save yesterday. At least Braun gave my fantasy team a good shot.

They forgot to work on rundowns this year? Botched rundown, walk, hit batter.

    Title should have been

Everybody ready except the Twins. Man, that was a terrible 1st inning.

I realize this is only one game but what is different than last season?

We get up against a better team and guess what.

I came up with a new cuss word last night: (inspired by the Cub’s Fukudome.

FUKUNISHIOKA!! I hope I’m not screaming that all season!

Funny side-note: Scene: One of the final Twins games at the dome. My dad took great offense to someone wearing a FUKUDOME jersey. My brother and I had to settle him down and explain to him that he was a popular player at the time for the Cubbies. lol.

Dad wasn’t a dome supporter, but thought that guy had taken it too far and it wasn’t “appropriate to wear around kids. lol.

FUKU is often a pre-fix to about anything we get upset at now.

We lost our first game last year too. Oh well. That was ugly though.

The Twins start April with 11 home and 17 road games. May also has more road than home games. The schedule doesn’t right itself until July and August. We may need to be patient with this group this year.

At least baseball is back. It means this sunshine outside is finally the real deal and the white stuff is history!!

    The boys of summer!

    Come on Liriano!!

You’ve got a bad case of baseball-itis… we’re forecast for snow sunday night into monday. Sorry man, not trying to be the rain on your parade but you’ve got to agree with me that early April baseball is…. weird. Kinda like NHL hockey being played in June.
