    Fishing show host Larry Dahlberg’s son fatally shot in Puerto Rico

    Mar 30, 2011 (Pioneer Press – McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) — The son of a prominent Minnesota fisherman was shot to death in Puerto Rico earlier this month.

    Aaron James Dahlberg, 33, son of Larry Dahlberg, host of cable-TV’s “The Hunt for Big Fish with Larry Dahlberg” was killed March 19.

    According to a March 22 story in the Santo Domingo-based El Nacional newspaper, Aaron Dahlberg was one of 19 people who died in a wave of violence during the previous weekend.

    The article said Aaron Dahlberg lived in a house in University Gardens in Rio Piedras. He was standing on the home’s balcony when he was shot in the upper back and armpit with a .45-caliber pistol.

    The gunman fled, local police told El Nacional

    To the family of Aaron Dahlberg our deepest sympathy. It is such a shame that someone would do this kind of thing to anyone. Makes me so mad that there are people out there who have no remorse or feeling for their fellow human being.
