The spots around the windows are from things hung on the wall for years, like a clock and pictures.

The real question is what are they going to do to you when you tear their house down. I would just leave it.

2 summers ago at our family cabin my brother, his girlfriend another friend of ours and I were up there and I went to take a pic of my bro and his girl standing in front of the fire place and this blue vertical lined showed up on the screen but wouldn’t show up on the pictures. It was night and our first thought was that it was reflection from the ceiling fan light or fire place. We turned off the light and the line still showed up on the camera…it was perfectly centered on the fireplace and stretched from the floor to above the mantle. We tried different angles and it stayed in exactly the same place no matter where we were in the room. Still thinking light from the fire was causing it we grabbed a cell phone just to see if it was the lens or whatever but we saw the same blue light on the cell camera but again it wouldn’t show up in pictures. So…I decided I would take a picture of the camera screen with my cell phone, as soon as I tried it went away. I put my cell down and it came back. It came and went several times over a 15-20 minute span, lights on or lights off and it didn’t matter where you stood in the cabin it was in the exact same spot with the exact same intensity. I have goose bumps sitting here thinking about it….it was the creepiest thing I have ever experienced…the strangest part for me personally was that as creppy as it was, I wasn’t scared. This might sound crazy but it was almost comforting. I would have thought an experience like that would have had me looking for the nearest hotel never to return. Been back to the cabin numerous times and never thought twice about it and never experienced the light again.
Personally…I think it was one or both of my grandparents, their ashes were spread around the cabin after they passed away. When they were alive it was their favorite place in the world. Growing up I remember spending a lot of time up there with them in the summers….a lot of my best memories are from being up there with them and the rest of the family.

I gave the image to my kids and had them mark anything they saw in this. After inverting the color, adjusting the brightness/contrast, they found Waldo.

Randy, that is really cool what your kids did there, you can really see it better, the cartoon faces are where we had things hanging on the wall and the paint isn’t faded.

I just did a “right click – save” then opened it with paint, and let them at it. You can see it much better if you invert the color and adjust the contrast.

Downloaded Ghost Radar for Android the other day. It basically detects anomalies and allows entities to manipulate the program to say words (like the word generators you see online). Read online a lot of “stories” of people getting responses that seemed to be more than coincidence. So.. downloaded and let it run for a short bit. first word out of it was “greatest”. So… I am a firm believer. LOL. I am sure it is random words… but… a couple of the words last night seemed to hit a little too close to home for what was going on… had me thinking…

Most people can’t figure out a smart phone, so how the heck is an entity on another plane going to figure out how to manipulate it to say words?

Zach from Ghost Adventures uses a spirit box, same concept. His explanation was that they (spirits) just figure out how to use it. This is just one thing I (IMHO) don’t think is possible, and unless someone comes up with a convincing theory, I remain unimpressed.

The problem with “Ghost Hunting” is that it is muddied up with human psychology. People see or hear what they want, believe or expect and it is hard as humans to be completely objective robots.

I have Entity Sensor on my Android and have left that running all night plugged in once. It is a good app, it is fun to play with it.

I is supposed to graph the readings, but that part is buggy. It also has a cool setting where you can set the threshold of the EMFs reading where it will trigger an audio recording.

If nothing else, it is entertaining.

We have a poltergeist in our house. No doubt about it and I don’t need any Smart Phone to convince me. In fact I was convince before there were smart phones.

    Specifically, it’s in my room.

Frequently I’ll find dirty close laying on the floor that just…appeared. Left over partially eaten sandwiches. The entity might be a relative because they are mostly fried spam sandwiches and I love them. Once there was a few crusts of a fried peanut butter sandwich. It took me a while to figure out what it was because of the mold. Poltergeists seem to hide food from time to time.

Once I came home and thought I would actually see it. There were clothes flying out of my room just like on that movie…turned out to be the FW cleaning out the floor in the closet. False alarm.

Personally, I think the FW has communicated with it. There’s been many times I can’t find something in my office that I KNOW where I put it. It’s just gone.

In frustration I complain about the geist and my FW always seems to know where it is.

    Btw, Garlic doesn’t work.

Anyone that knows me knows I have a firm belief in the Lord but I also know that if I believe that, I don’t have a choice but to believe in other spiritual things. The bible is full of spirit and demon references. I don’t understand all the relationships that exist……no one does but I know this:

Anyone that’s never had a personal experience will always question or deny it’s validity. Anyone that HAS will never be swayed to the idea of “a logical explaination.”

When I was a small child, I shared a bedroom with my two older sisters. I found out over 20 years after the fact that they too had been “messed with” by something not of this world. We were never physically touched but the way they showed themselves was consistant in our recollections. A “visionary” or “dimensional” experience also came from that room. I’ve always wanted to return there and speak with the current residents to see if this has continued.

As a bachelor in a duplex, my neighbors approached and asked if I ever hear “walking” when they’re not home. I said I dismissed it as one must’ve stayed back. They could watch me leave and hear “walking” and “thumping” from underneath them. One night, my locked door slammed hard while I was making an evening bite at the stove. I only had to move my head a foot to see the door. The blinds were still settling but there were no significant winds that night and I had checked that door by pulling on it before I went to the kitchen 10-15 minutes earlier. No one had died in that house. The original occupants were still alive at the time. Only 3 days later, the phone rang, I picked up on the third ring, a voice spoke boldly in a language I didn’t recognize, so I uttered, “Hello?” twice and almost immediately after the second hello, a girl I was dating at the time said, “Ken? Is that you?” I said, “Yeah. Did you hear that?” She said, “Hear what? Your phone didn’t even ring! You were just there,…..as if you knew when to pick up”. Me and the neighbors decided to acknowledge that something was with us and we’d actually speak to it, or them…..and things seemed calmer after that.

I recently met a fellow who is “A” sensitive…….claims he can sometimes see spirits and can easily connect with them. I wanted to call his bluff but he told me I have a mild mannered spirit that “found” me when I was 15. He took a liking to “my style” and has been following me around ever since. This spirit would obviously know my doubts about this claim so he began to tell this guy things that…..well, there’s no way for him to know about me or my life AND……….the man never asked me any questions!!! He says it “checks in” once in awhile to see if there’s anything worth hanging around for. Otherwise, it keeps a loose eye on me. He also said there were two other spirits, neither very kind, that see me as rather insignificant, but keep a distant eye on what I’m doing.

I’ve had a number of things happen to me or around me ever since. I’ve honestly interacted but I don’t know who with.

I’ve always wondered what their interest in the mortels is but I can’t deny the things I’ve experienced. It’s much like being castaway on a tropical island and trying to tell the natives about snow and blizzards. I’ve experienced it and it is therefore, very real to me, but it might be difficult for them to believe.

BTW – I saw the image by the window almost immediately. I don’t know if that means anything or not, but as I read through the replies, I was beginning to wonder why no one else was commenting on the figure apperition in front of the window!

I’ve spoken with numerous family members about such events and it amazed me to find that most of my relatives and immediate family members have stories to tell as well.

I think proving ghosts, spirits, demons, etc., etc., exist is very difficult to do but as I said earlier, you’ll never sway the opinion of anyone who’s had a personal encounter that it’s an impossible option of reason. I know I have no reason to lie or invent this stuff. I have nothing to gain or lose if anyone else believes me or not. All I know is that it’s impossible for me to dismiss the experiences logically. They happened.

I lived in a “haunted house” in college. It was documented and written about books and everything. I saw some absolutely inexplicable stuff while living there.

I still don’t believe in ghosts, per se. I believe there are things that we don’t understand or that science can’t explain, but I don’t believe they’re spirits or anything like that.

they are generally all parlour tricks. just like the physic tv shows were shown to be. my friend helped a guy build a pc program similar to the on on the iphone.

as for the picture, our brains will easily transform what we want to see into what we think we are actually seeing. read a book called Psychocybernetics.

You really aren’t seeing anything here in this picture more than likely.

there are spots in the tiles right by the my toilet that if i look at them long enough, 1 looks like a skull and the other looks like a dog barking. i see them every morning when i’m sitting there. my mind immediately turns them into the shapes i think they look like, when in actuallity they are just swirls in the ceramic tile.

i do believe in the paranormal though and have had a few small experiences with them. I just believe that its not as abundant as people would like / think and that that 99% of it is totally explainable.

I see a very grainy picture that if stared at might look like something different to everyone that looks at it similar to clouds.

I have studied this for hours and made a discovery. I wanted to make sure I was correct before posting so I called in several experts and after much analysis we agree:

There is a naked blonde girl in front of the window. She is 21, thin, well endowed and has a great personality.

    You all see it?
