I am looking at a Sled on Craigslist. 1998 Arctic Cat Pantera 580 EFI. 1800 miles and clean. Do you think 2000 sounds fair? Thanks guys!

I would test drive it and if all checks out.

One could always offer a few hundred less and see how motivated the seller is to sell it.

It may be a tick high for the age.

Seems a little high to me for a 98′ sled and were almost to spring. You could get a sled 3-5 years newer for the same money, and for not much more a much nicer/newer sled.

Probably a nice sled w/ low miles, but for a 13 year old sled you shouldnt have to pay more than $1200.

Agreed with the above. 13yo technology. $1000-$1200 max. Also its the end of the season and priced should be on the LOW end. -Mark

Mileage sounds good and that is a solid machine however it has been sitting around for 13 years and that is a factor. Price is high. You can get something newer for that kind of money.

With the snow gone just wait, you will be able to get the same sled for 1000 or less.

Be careful some of the older sleds turn down to 0 miles once they hit 10,000. I have heard of a lot of people buying them and then finding out there are tons of hours on the sled but few miles…kinda fishy. Probably not the case but i would ask some question on the low miles being it is pretty old. A dealer can plug it in and read the hours.
