    Guys you want real fun. just try your hand of pumping water out of a basement.. I mean the real joy of it .. its something that you really have to experience to get the true meaning..

    I feel your pain. a few years back, we got some serious rains and I went down to check the sump. no water in there. awesome. about an hour later, I got a call from the next door neighbor who was getting a little water in his basement so I went down to check mine. as soon as I opened the door, I could see about 6 inches of standing water in our finished basement. The pump had failed and to top it off, an ice cream pail lid floated over the drain and blocked it off. What a complete disaster. The worst thing is you get no help from the insurance company.

    Heres some real fun for you rat,
    I’m heading down to Holman field, where my work request is to remove the water heaters and boilers from the basement level of the terminal. Plug all storm and sanitary waste piping in the building and fill the lower level with water. Later at the end of April, pump the water out and reinstall all utilities to working condition.

    I really do not like the winter of 2011
