I typically do not go out in the morning on opener as I do not care for all the landing traffic. Picky I know.

I will be headed to a lake at sunset to pull some cranks for the eyes though.

    Where are you all going?

So, if you are fishing Mille Lacs with the masses, does that mean you are fishing molasses?

I’ll be on Milly at first light. Did the midnight thing for too many years to count. But like my sleep more now….

I will be headed to Lake Eau Claire with my daughter for our annual camping/fishing trip together. At 18 years of age I am not sure how many more of these trips I will get out of her

I’ll be at Evertts giving my money to the hardest working man on a resort… He’s the one who deserves the business. No offense to Rainy Daze-I havent been there yet.

Gotta give credit where credit is due.
That is if I have the day off from work.

Pool 2 in the heart of the twin cities. 7am and a good chance at being the only trailer in the parking lot.

Opener? What opener? The river doesn’t have an opener!

I’ll be singing happy birthday to the favorite wife…

    FYI that is your warning.

Small 400acre lake near Longville, Mn. If I see 8 boats fishing I will be shocked…Pure heaven! RR

I’ll miss the Croix on opening day due to the Thorne Bros spring sale going one but probably be out there on Sunday. Doesn’t much matter as, like Brian said, the river doesn’t close.

For MN opener I’ll probably head up to the pond for the fourth year in a row. Lots of people but it’s a great time.

Depends on the weather for me. If it is going to be nice, I’ll get away from the zoos and fish the lake near GR where my sister has a cabin. Otherwise the usual, Knife lake with the brothers. That way if the weather is horse crap like it is 4 out of every 5 years, I can head home early.
