What does everyone think is going to happen on pool 4 this spring. Will it be like last spring or will it be even higher. I have talked to quite a few people who think it wont even be close to last year and they are basing their opinions on the fact that the frost only went down 12-18 inches and that the ground will absorb alot of the melting snow. Lets hear what people think, especially the guys that are around the river everyday.

    to many factors to predict…

If it doesn’t rain like H3LL it won’t be as bad as it could be

I was checking out the USGS site today and the Blue Earth, Cottonwood and the Minnesota all appear to have shot up a foot or more in about 24 hours. We’ll see where this goes.

Here is the updated Hydrological report for Pool 4:

    Link

Alot of factors will still come into play as far as how high the water may get, but this should serve as a nice guideline.

Hopefully these cooler temps we have coming in next week will limit the amount of melt we get for a while and allow some of this water go get passed on downstream.
