I would like to nominate the stretch of Hwy. 95 going west from Taylors Falls towards North Branch Mn. First 10 miles I was below 35mph in several places. Not pot holes (yet) but frost heaves everywhere.

Hwy 218 south from Austin to Lyle. BAD. Lots of deeeep potholes, it takes a beating from all the trucks going to the ethanol plant.

I think all of MN will win as we must have the worst roads in the nation. It must be our high taxes and fine weather that keeps us here — although we all know it is for the walleyes as to why we live in MN.

County Road J between Hodgson or 49 and 35E has to be the worst stretch of road ever

Sorry Dave, as my recent vacation can confirm, WI (especially around Milwaukee) and also the roads in Texas have MN easily beaten with some of the worst roads I have ever been on…

There is a short stretch on HWY 47 just North of St. Francis that has been redone a couple times and is still terrible. Also HWY 22 just West of HWY 65 is like a roller coaster almost year round. Last night I was trying to find a short cut in downtown Minneapolis and ended up on a cobblestone street. It was so bad that I didn’t dare go much faster than 10 mph. Another rough stretch is Lyndale Avenue as you enter onto 94 North. Other than that, I think the roads are ok.

travel to upstate New York if you want rough roads! I’m actually thinking these rough roads will do some boat motor damage this spring. have had a few loose and broken things go wrong the last 2 years… I’m thinking trailering on rough roads not gonna help…

Hwy 23…. about 6 miles west of Foley, to 3 miles east of Foley… that stretch west of Foley will tell you if any of your trailer tires are a little suspect… it will take them right off the hub/rim. Doesn’t matter time of year either… it’s all year round !!!

Agreed, the road is ridiculous. I wouldn’t even consider driving that stetch of road again unless someone paid me.
