Thumbs up or down on any fishing trips this summer? Weekends don’t count.

Who’s doing a week long or longer trip and where you going?

I might skip across the border this fall and chase some smallies but nothing locked in for sure.

    How about you?

Leech Lake – Had to combine a Canada fishing trip and another family vacation into one trip this year. Pannies during the day and walleyes at night

    Kabetogama for opener.

BWCA for smallies first week in June

Longlac Ontario for bear/walleye fishing third week in August.

Elephant Lake for family vacation week after Labor Day.

Lake Kabetogama for walleyes first week of October.

One week in Ely chasing big bucks and another in December chasing mulies in the Dakotas.

It’s taken 20 years of blood, sweat, and tears to get to this level of vacation and I plan to burn it wisely!

There just might be some hope for you!

All my vacation time is being used up on fishing. Not totally sure where fishing will take me this year, but I’m going along for the ride!

I’ll spend at least one full week at our cabin. Hoping for two, but we’ll see what the FW says about that.

Only 4-5 day trips for me.

We have 3 one week racing trips with the kids dirt modified so I will be fishing for less than a week all of the time.

Darn race car takes up alot of time.

    Tough summer ahead.
