Seems in a statement Adrian made yesterday, he stated that the NFL treats the players like they are in slavery.

Boy would I like to be a slave to the NFL for 10 million a season.

    Poor boy.

He should count his blessings he doesn’t work where I do. I’m guessing he already wishes he could recant those remarks.

Notice Jesse Jackson isn’t up here running his mouth about that. Even that fool knows how ridiculous the statement was.

I also heard that Tom Brady complained about being treated like women.

I would have said Clay Matthews, but I am trying to hide my man crush.

Without owners willing to risk many MILLIONS of their own $$$$$$ they wouldn’t have a JOB. What do the players have at RISK.

Ryan Grant set Peterson straight. Paraphrasing here, he said it’s too bad Peterson doesn’t recognize their is still real slavery going on in Africa.

think of the beatings he would have gotten if he WAS a slave and couldn’t hang on the the ball in 2009. then again maby thats why he did hang on to it in 2010. Im a Vikings fan and in my opinion he should just shut up, hang on to the ball and RUN. do what you do best and everyone loves you. open your mouth one time say something dumb and people find out just how stupid you are.

I think he was saying, the Owners are the Master and he is the slave…. I don’t think he was saying that compared to your job, his is like slavery, although most will construe it that way, it sounds better on paper. I would agree, owners that make billions paying millions, I have no sympathy for them either. It’s all about money, whether your an owner or a player, but I would argue, Adrian has a better chance of getting a career ending injury every play, than does Zigi, sitting in the owners box

I guess I look at it this way. Yes, the owners may make more but they are the ones who invested millions or more for the team.

Just like any business, the one who started it or invested the funds should be the top dog.

If anything I wrote, had you thinking I am against people making money, then I better reword it ??? I am however, against a Zillionaire, squabbling about Billions, with a Millionaire….if that makes sense ???

Does you honestly think it is a HUGE risk, buying a NFL Team ??? It’s not like they sell everything they own, pack up the family and head into uncharted land and go panning for gold….

Oh I agree with you Big.

Might not be a huge risk but they are the owners. Owning a football team or any sports team is nothing more than a huge invested to make lots of money.

If Peterson thinks it is tough playing football, maybe he should work for a living just like all here.

He needs to sit down and think just how fortunate he really is.
