Hey guys n gals. I am fairly new to IDO and enjoy the site and forums very much!
Here is the reason for this post:
My brother-in-law and sister-in-law lost their home and everything in it to a fire on Saturday. They escaped the home with only the clothes on their backs and the socks on their feet. The home is a total loss. They also lost the RV, 2 cars, a 100 yr old cedar lathe strip boat and all of their hunting,fishing and camping equipment including several family handed down guns from several generations.
They are a family of 5. Him, her, a 5 yr old boy, a 17 yr old boy and a 19 yr old daughter.
They were insured yes. But given the rising costs of building materials, etc, insurance coverages wont cover replacing all of it I’m sure. We live in a small rural town just SE of St Cloud and there has been an outpouring of support for them in their time of need. We have been able to get them the essentials and some cash from our Lions club to help them get rolling with a few things.
My request is this. If anyone has any fishing or hunting equipment they would be willing to donate or possibly gift cards to places like Cabelas, Walmart, Scheels, Gander Mountain or anywhere they can get sporting goods equipment in the area, it sure would be a blessing for them!
