Our 2002 Trailblazer brake pedal is all over the place sometimes it feels fine then it feels soft or almost goes to the floor. Pads are newer (50% or better ) and no ABS light, fluid level is full, no pulsation or steering wheel shimmy. Have any ideas?

Assuming the fluid in the master cylinder is full and you have never let it run dry. I’d say bad master cyliner and or air in the system.

I have chev siverado 2002 and had front brake problems at about 2-3 mph, turned out to be brake sensors on front hubs. Just had left front sensor replaced by local mech. around 140$ hope this helps

With no leaks and fluid full… if your pedal is all over the place randomly soft/firm to hard your brake master cylinder is bad

That is what I thought but with all the new stuff on these vehicles just wanted to be sure.

    Thanks
