In-Depthangling.com is thrilled to announce the addition of John “Riverfan” Stears to it’s growing Field Staff Team! John is a bass specialist and calls the Mississippi River home waters. He’s knowledge and abilities and willingness to share some of his experiences and insights will make him an excellent addition to IDA… just in time for the bass season!

A little more about John, in his own words… “If you call me a river rat I won’t be insulted. I grew-up with the Mississippi in my back yard and have always considered it my home waters. I’ve fished bass tournaments in the area sense the late 70’s and have gained a lot of experience along the way. I’m moving into a different phase of my life and feel it’s time to put something back. In-Depth Angling is the best educational forum around and I hope I can contribute to its growth.”

John is a bass guide on the Mississippi River out of Wabasha, MN and more information about him and what he has to offer can be found on-line at: http://www.riverfan.com

Please take a minute to visit his site and familiarize yourself with what he has to offer and of course drop him a line here to welcome him to the site.

    Welcome John…!

Welcome John. Great to have you on board. We need more Bass guys in my mind. In fact if there are any bass guys who are guides and or tournament fisherman from other pools of the river or lakes who would be interested in joining the In-Depthangling Field Staff as a reporter from your area please feel free to send me a pm or a regular e-mail and I will see that you get an application. You are not asked to give away your hot spots but just need to talk about the type of structure, techniques and ways you fish the areas etc. Its alot of fun and we all learn from everyones sharing. Again, welcome to the Team John. Thanks, Bill
