Just thought I would toss this out. I have been picked to shoot at halftime of the lakers/T’Wolves game on Friday night. I have to shoot a layup/freethrow/3-pointer in 30 seconds. If I make all of em I get $500 and free Hot Tomales for everybody in a section of the Target Center….Soooo snyway if anybody is gonna be there, look for the goofy looking guy at halftime trying to find the basket and cheer me on! Thanks!

Isn’t it funny how seldom we get to choose our 15 minutes of fame? Anyway, I hope you pull it off!

Steve, should I be buying a ticket to see this in person??? Picture phone, picture phone………… ………… How I love my picture phone!!!

Why no slam dunk? The above should be a breeze for a man of your stature

With 18,000 people in the stands, the layup will feel as if it’s a half-court shot! If you miss it, just try this technique.
Good luck! We’ll be pulling for you.

Well, did ya make it? We ran down to Cabela’s and got home right as the 3rd quater started. I did hear them say it was the biggest crowd to ever see a Wolves home game so you had quite a crowd. It was even a good game! I think we’ll be down in the morning to try our luck, see ya then.

“He shoots……..He Scooooooorrrrrrrrrres”! Drained em all! I made all three. My first attempt at the three pointer left a little to be desired, the second attempt was in and out….and the third attempt…”swish”! I had 30 seconds to make all three shots and had 10 seconds left. I had a great time. Even got to chat with the T’Wolves cheerleaders before the game in a VIP room! . One interesting note…..I was introduced to one of the cheerleaders and I saw her and said…..”you were on “FEARFACTOR LAS VEGAS”…..she said “you have a great memory”…..turns out it was one of the girls that was on the tv show Fearfactor and I happened to see that episode. She was telling me all about the show and how nasty it was to eat live spiders and pig parts! It was an awesome evening. Thanks for all the wellwishes!

I was worried after the game…didn’t see a post. I thought maybe you were too good for us now that you were introduced to the cheerleaders….
