St Jude Fundraising Banquet in Rochester

    We are having our 6th Annual St Jude Childern’s Research Hospital Fundraising Banquet Saturday April 9th. If anyone is interested in attending, please feel free to contact me by PM or call me.

    For those not familiar with the St Judes Fund Raisers…

    They are set up by fishermen to help raise money for the hospital that Danny Thomas started for kids. They do not turn anyone away because of their ability to pay.

    If you’re in the mood to tear up, search St. Judes on YouTube. There are many many videos on kids that have or had cancer and survived. Some that did not.

    I give away two catfishing trips per year for fund raisers. One is aways to St Judes.

    Folks, all of these fundraisers support the Dick Hiley Memorial Bass Classic that is held in Wabasha each year. It is a unique Tournament in that your starting position is tied to the amount of money your team raises for St Jude. This will be the 13th year of the tournament and we will surpass the ONE MILLION DOLLAR milestone. None of this would have been possible without the support of the fishing community here on IDO and all the other forums around the area. The guides who donate trips, the companies that donate product, and the fisherman who work their tails off to collect these donations and put on the various fundraisers, and all the good folks that attend them and spend their money. I am the chairperson of the tournament and just want to express my gratitude to all of you. This year the tournament is scheduled for April 30 and May 1, for more information go to http://stjudefishing.com/.

    Anyone that would like tickets or would like to donate anything, fishing rods, reels, tackle, guide trips for fishing or hunting. Anything that involves hunting, fishing, home and garden we are taking donations for the Banquet. Please PM or call me.
