I drove over one of the bridges this morning and no ice. This afternoon when coming back they had the gates at the dam down and the river is filled with large chunks of ice. I know the rivers froze up river quite a ways and its coming down now, it should be all down river in a couple days. The waters up a few feet but not bad with no snow on the ground here and the grounds still frozen on the top. Up river near the Minnesota border they still have some snow but don’t know how much, not alot I don’t think. Once the ice goes out here springs just around the corner, Im ready for it this year.

Sure go rub it in, some of us just got 17 inches of fresh snow
The sun is getting higher in the sky, a great sign. It melted the leftover snow on my driveway so it looks nice, dry and black.
    Springs coming

9″ of snow at Wabasha, Mn… Good for snowmobiling.

20″ of ice in the back waters yet, but one sees the signs of erosion where there is current.
