I have a friend that has one and he says it cuts good but only gets about ten holes per charge. Not sure what others are getting. I’m sure that would be fine for some people.

I have had a strikemaster electric cordless for the last several years and love it. Mine cuts an 8 inch hole, and I can usually cut 30 holes on a full charge before it goes dead. It also has cables to hook up to your truck/snowmobile/atv battery to keep on drilling if you need to. I fish mostly in SE MN and western WI, I have had it on LOTW and URL a couple times, and it didn’t work as well up there with 2.5-3 feet of ice.

I’ve got a Strikemaster, and I really like it. But, like some others have said, it really depends on the ice you’re on. When cutting thru 3 feet of ice, you’re only going to get about 10 holes cut before the battery goes. In 18 inches of ice, I can cute about double that. I like if for using in a perm, so you don’t end up w/ all the gas fumes indoors.
