    While I don’t fish for bass, I wish Walleye angling had a dominant icon like this guy. He’s poised to win the Bassmaster Classic again. If there is such thing as a Michael Jordan in professional fishing it’s this guy.

    Agreed, he is a fishing machine. Also seems to be a good role model for the kids from what I have heard and read about him.

    Would be great for Bass fishing for him to win again in my opinion.

    His talent is sickening. I’m not a bass guy but I like watching him on pro team journal. He explains everything to a T.

    My son and I ran camera boats when the E50 was on Wissota a few years ago and met quite a few of the pros,KVD,Rick Clunn,Larry Nixon and Ike were a few that we got to visit with and they are all top notch guys to be around.The best of luck to KVD. Stan

    Amazing fishermen and an amazing person. Met him way back when they had the Bassmasters Universities in the Twin Cities. Been my hero since I was 9 years old, and 20 years later he still is.
