I have a roaster that was written on with a Sharpie marker. Anybody have any tips on cleaning it off without destroying the finish?

Acetone… ought to be enamel finish. Otherwise acids would eat it up.
On other hand it might be pretty permanent. Duct tape is always styling too.

try carb cleaner. Should take it off with ease and not damage the paint. works on vehicles too.

Acetone should work on it. That’s always what we used to get permanent marker off in the chem lab

Give (De-Solv-it) a try. It takes ink, permanent marker out of cloths, tar off of vehicles etc… It shouldn’t damage the finish on the roaster it is fine for car paint.

Sometimes common household items (especially if your married)can remove many stains without making a special trip. Hairspray can remove ink so can nail polish remover (acetone).

Personally I’d send it to Paul Jr and have him design something around it, look what he did for Coleman…

    Maybe Duct tape it?

I had a roaster just about like that and I ended up using Carb cleaner. It worked great and the finish wasn’t hurt a bit.

So far carb cleaner and something called Goof Off didn’t work.

    I’ll try more tomorrow!
