I’ve had hard top and roll up. The roll up was more verstile. Mine was an Access brand. I liked it.
Thanks. I was looking at the roll up type. So the velcro holds pretty well? and seems to last?
I’ve had a roll up type on my truck since ’06. Love it and it still looks and works great.

Access on the Titan, works great. The hardcovers are nice for security, but a pain when you want to carry something taller. Either way out of sight out of mind helps. Check CL, I got mine there cheap because the guy bought a topper. Mine seals up well enough to drive through a good rain storm and have dry gear afterward.

I like it too
Sweet! Good to hear. Dont get a topper. Once you get used to them there’s no turning back then your truck doesnt look as cool.
I have a roll up as well and think they are the best as far as versatility. I have the Lund Genesis and it has been a great cover and the price is right, they are just under 300 bucks. They are easy to install and very easy to operate.

Thats what the warranty is for, I had mine replaced free the velcro strips and the cover
I also have an Access, I bought the one with thinest board. Very happy with it. The only down fall is I own a 06′ GMC 1/2 ton crew cab & for some reason GMC has theses caps that are installed on the bed rail, & when Radco did the install I asked them not to tighten the clamps to tight because they pinch those rail caps & buckle them up …………….. So after about 6 weeks I had one rail cap buckle up on me, that’s my only complaint……………….I should of took rail caps off before installing cover. But all in all I like it very much.
My truck came with a Lund (cover not boat). It has served me well and I haven’t had any problems. Velcro stick great in warm or very cold weather.
I have a roll up on one truck and a topper on the other. I will never give up having a topper.
The roll up tonneau cover is nice and makes easy access to the back however.
I have an access cover for my F150. it works great and have had no issues with the velcro for the 5 years I’ve owned the truck. I got mine on CL for ~200.

X2 The access brand is real nice. Lifetime warranty also.

I went through this same thing last fall and went with the Access roll cover from RADCO and couldn’t be happier!

Have had the Access cover on my truck for 4 years. Looks great, velcro is still money. No complaints at all.
Makes the truck very versatile, and keeps the snow out!!
Plus the Otter fits nicely underneath so nobody knows what I am haulin!!

X2 I had a fiberglass on an older truck and had to carry a blow torch with me in the winter since the lock was frozen from November-April. The only issue I have with my access is that I left the Tonneau rolled up this last summer and the sun killed the exposed part of the velcro on the vinyl so I have about 6 inches on both sides at the front of the truck that doesnt stick very good. I can still run through a car wash though and no get any water in there though.
Access makes by far the best roll up cover, but with that being said I used one for a few years, and then went to a topper with flip up side Windows and screened Windows for the dog. I will never own a truck again without a topper. They are just too nice most of the time.
I have one that folds up so you can lift it off when you don’t want it attached or you can leave it folded and clamped in the front section of the truck box. I like it. It only has 4 cam clamps for attachment. I wanted one that lifts completely off so nothing is in the way when hauling wood chips or when we attach our bracket for hauling our canoe.
I have a hard top that I’d like to sell PM me. And I will debit some fish bucks if it work.
I have a unicover fiberglass cover that was on the truck when I bought it. Very well built but I preffer a topper so I’m selling the tonneau cover.

This is what I run also.. I am getting a new truck about every 4-6 months, so I wanted one I could flip from one truck to the next easily. That being said… if I owned a truck, it would get an Access cover or a Truxedo.. pretty much the same thing.
I have owned two, first the Fold-a-Cover: versitiliy was nice but the hinge seals did not hold up in the cold weather. Second and current, UnderCover. They make two versions a plain black or a paintable version. I went with the paintable version. I couldn’t be happier…. Check it out yourself online at: UnderCover
I have an Access cover on my 99 GMC Sierra. Tonneau cover is close to 10 years old now and if I put some Armorall on it, you’d think it was new. Yes the velcro is still good.
