Not only did the ground hog not see his shadow but as I was standing on my deck this A.M. I could hear hen turkeys squawking up a racket down on the neighbors. All of the sudden about 6 gobbles rang out. Then the hens got even louder and once again more gobbles. Then a crow lands down in the woods, goes off and again more gobbles. Sort of gets the blood boiling.

Can’t wait for Turkey season. Seen Robins on Wed two days after recieving 18.4 inches of snow.

This morning I looked out towards where they were gobbling yesterday and lo and behold there were a couple fanned out. My neighbor is feeding them on his driveway, he gives them ground corn plus they are up there getting gravel.
We watched a couple red squirrels getting it on in the backyard while we ate breakfast. Definitely spring…for the squirrels.
Just add some green and a few early mushrooms and,,,
