A barge from the construction of the new bridge went thru the other day but I’m not sure the landing is open or has ever been open this time of the year in Hastings.

one of the drivers from my work drove over the bridge and said maybe there was a chance. we went out on feb 28th last year but if i can go earlier i would be happy. sick of ice fishing.

better bring a bobcat with to clear all of the snow out. they have been piling up all of the snow from the parking lots into the ramp load/unload area.

it will be late march at the earliest, before you get a boat in up there.

The ramps are open at Everts

    or

You may be able to get on Pool 3 in Prescott, it looked as if someone had plowed out some of the landing over there

thanks for the info do you think they’re gonna fix the ramp in hastings this year, i dont know if any of you guys have seen a ramp built, do they have to build a wall around to keep water out or do they just put precast concrete. just thinkin about how terrible its gonna be with a full lot on a hot saturday and only one side of the ramp to launch

I was told last year by the city that it is up to the DNR to fix it, and was told by the DNR it is up to the city to fix it…

I was lookin around online and I think it was the city website that said it was a city park with an access maintained by the dnr so I’d say the dnr is in charge. Dont know if thats a good or bad thing

I went down there the other day to take a look at the landing, there is ice a good 20 yards out and a red can floated down right behind the only good ramp and is iced in as well. doesn’t look like we’ll be able to get out there any time soon.
