    Ralph,

I am concerned that you haven’t learned to portray yourself as being incompetent yet. Every marriage needs that or you lose your powerbase. Whenever my wife has a GFI (Great Fing Idea), I have to meet with one of my contractor friends usually while out fishing. A GFI is generally a plan that improves the lot of person A without person A having to do anything other than ask person B to do it. Generally, GFIs come back after consultation as being too expensive, illconceived, or kicked back for more details which often leads to another consultation.

I don’t have to fake it. I am not mechanically inclined, nor am I a handyman.

For instance my truck wasn’t pumping out heat, so I figured I better make time to put in a new thermostat. I told my brother and he said, “Did you check your coolant level”?

Too Expensive = Anything that will require a payment to someone else or anything that could be put off until a new boat is in the garage.

My personal favorite (we are also in a too expensive to sell first house)is you can’t make a 150K house worth 200K no matter what you do. You take a house like that and put in a new water heater and furnace and the rest will take care of itself. Invest your money and use it to buy a house that has all of that crap done already.

Very nice. Sadly, all you’ll do is stink up the place.

What’s the rectangle in the glass block? A vent or little window of some sort?

We have close the same exact bathroom that I will be remodeling….well…once I finish the basement project I started a year and a half ago.

Yeah, it’s a little vent window you can pop open to allow fresh air in.

I can’t believe you replaced that floor. It was cool.

Unfortunately, the subfloor under it was rotten, so we had to get rid of it

I really like how you mixed up the pattern in the shower where the shower head and faucet are.

You can credit my FW for that…and the Tile Shop in Plymouth for the inspiration
