Seems some have posted about failing customer service at Marcum a ways back, and while not earth shattering, I sent Marcum an email 2 days ago asking them if they had somewhere I could download the manual for my LX5

These old bifocaled eyes had a hard time reading the one that comes with the unit.
They emailed me a manual in Word that I can actually read.

    They’re on a good start with me..fwiw

I had a very positive experience with them recently as well. My LX-5 stopped working right so I called and emailed. They called and emailed me back (both) and recommended that I stop by their shop in New Hope (20 min from me). I drove out there and left 10 minutes after I arrived with a new transducer to replace the one that died. I was awfully happy to get it fixed so quickly.

Im hoping no other outdoor product companys go to the lowrance school of customer service. Glad to hear they are doing the right thing.

The poor customer service I had with Lowrances is one of the reasons I went elsewhere.
