I just find it hard to believe that anyone who’s ever actually eaten at Taco Bell is shocked at the revelation that it’s not 100% Grade A Prime that’s in those “tacos”.

I’m pretty sure the secret is something to do with grilling it with the onions. I remembered hearing that somewhere. I could be wrong, though.
January 25, 2011 at 4:40 pm #930150While the new Zantigo is not quite as good as the old, it is far better than Taco Smell. When I was a kid it was always 2 taco burrito and 2 cheese chilitos. Thanks for the info Brian, I was wondering about how the new Zantigo came back. I knew that Taco Bell had bought them out. Surprised they let them use the old name.

Zantigo was my favorite taco joint; “Green Chili Burritos”
Have you tried the new Zantigo? You won’t be disappointed.January 25, 2011 at 10:32 pm #930310Doesn’t surprise me. Used to work for Sara Lee and they ad a lot of stuff to there meat products. Soy powder and binders. That way they can ad up to 50% more water and sell it as meat.
January 25, 2011 at 10:53 pm #930312Come on!!!!! I love Taco Bell! I stop at the one in Hinkley every trip up North!

January 25, 2011 at 11:14 pm #930338The crazy SOB’s of today’s world pay big bucks for that colon detox diet stuff… It’s completely “free” at Taco Hel7…. a little hard on the Charmin supply & fishing in a sleeper can be a tad bothersome….. just sayin’….

Nice information… However, it suggests that many folks were not paying attention to the Taco Bell commercials a few years ago…
Yo Quiero Taco Bell
Honest to God truth, I worked for Two Men and A Truck, a moving service, and I moved that guy out of his huge freakin home and into a bigger huge freakin home. He was real though. So me and the mover decided to drag his 3000 dollar leather couch accross his new ebony hardwood floors.
This was after the last straw though which was he decided we wern’t moving fast enough, called our boss to complain, and then threw his sandle at us. We were working our butt’s off by the way.
January 26, 2011 at 2:16 am #930425Not this will affect Taco Bell.
Just a heads up, the beef prices are going through the roof.Argentina as well as other country’s in South America are having massive flooding that is killing cattle. McDonald’s buys most of their beef from that area but can’t now, so they will buy from US cattle producers. This will cause our beef prices to rise dramatically.

January 26, 2011 at 2:44 am #930439I just enjoyed 2 of the 99 cent Beefy Crunch Burritos…. Heaven for taste buds. Rock on fake meat
January 26, 2011 at 5:19 am #930490Ol Uncle Ted (Nugent) has the right idea…”kill it and grill it ” you know what you are getting that way. I feel blessed to live in a small rural community, within 5 miles away are two of those little country lockers, they walk em in and you carry out the REAL thing ready for the grill or roaster ! Growing up on the farm we even knew the name of the critter we were having for dinner !

So you’re saying you’ve never raised fillers or binders on the farm?

Golden rule! Ya don’t name ’em if you’re going to eat ’em!
Also, I like the image of the rich guy throwing his sandal at the two guys and truck. Too funny.
February 1, 2011 at 9:04 pm #932461Baja Sol is quite good. and the food appears to be much more “normal”…
milemark_714Posts: 1287February 2, 2011 at 2:56 am #932595Wasn’t McRib just a pressed pork product?Lots of filler in that one.
And Arby’s”Roast Beef”is a highly processed item.Irradiation does wonders to fast food meat these days.Taco Bell/KFC is the original colon blow .
