$2.88 down here and 5 cents cheaper with the gas card, I always notice MN has higher gas prices. The cheapest I found to fill up was in Lindstrom, lucky I can get there with one tank.

Because we pay 5-7% more in gas taxes? That’s what a couple of Googled sites show.

I just stopped at $50.00 and it did not even get 3/4 full, gonna be a long, expensive summer if the gas prices hit 4.00 to 4.50 like they are predicting.

I am glad people are all making these predictions. I am sure that commodity traders aren’t listening. Personally I’ll believe it when I see it. I don’t see a big economic turn around that could support it.

Me niether, but I can sure see a little economic upturn that could get hammered ( ) with a major price hike at the pumps this summer…even old age and treachery won’t help me out there.

Wasnt it two summers ago when they predicted $4?
It never got there because Americans were so angry at the thought. I think that has a lot to do with it too.

Anyone know of a place that sells scooters with trailer hitches? Need one heavy enough to pull my 620. That will never be full so will save some tongue weight.

I’m not complaining as we all just got a 2% raise when they lowered the SS tax.

    It’s a crock of . I’m investing in futures.

Your right, but why is Lindstrom MN not charging the 5-7% gas tax?

They are, it is just cheaper depending on where you live in a state and the size of the holding tanks. I pay at least a nickle to a dime more here in Richfield than I would in some suburbs.

$3.24 here in Eau Claire yesterday! Looks like a bicycle for commuting back and forth to work this summer so I can afford gas for the boat.

‘They’ are paying attention to the leading indicators that consumer spending was up in the 4th quarter of 2010 and ‘they’ feel the economy is turning around (I must be living in a different economy) and demand is going to go up again, thus the prices are going up, and ‘they’ say $4 this summer with $5 next year. That is until the economy suffers again and the prices drop. There are a lot of variables that go into the price but still has a whole lot to do with basic supply and demand. I do wonder what all those people who said the prices were so high because Bush was making his oil buddies rich will say now that prices will go higher under Obama.

Just got one, beetle TDI, so far I have 300 miles on this tank and it is just below 1/2> so far so good. Truck sits in garage instead of commuting

How come this is not Obama’s fault???

    NEVERMIND!!!

I have come to the conclusion that gas prices are beyond anything I can control. My solution?

    MAKE MORE MONEY!!!

BINGO!! Driving is such a high priority with me I would sacrifice lots of other things before lowering my gas consumption.

Here in Illinois I am paying 3.28 for reg – and across the river it is 3.08 for reg. Most of the time it is 10cent to 20 some cents cheaper. I full up as often as possible going that way in to Iowa.- – -Pool 14. I drive 22 miles back and fore to get the cheaper gas.

I guess I’d rather pay $2/gallon but $3.50 right now doesn’t seem “unfair” in any way. I can tow a 21′ boat 16 miles at 70 MPH for $3.50. That’s 22 cents a mile. To me that is a lot of “value” for the money. Particularly when you consider people spend $2 bottle for water or $20 for movie tickets without a second thought.

Everyone should be thankful anyone of us can go out today and buy virtually an unlimited amount of gas 24/365. Some countries that is simply not the case.
