    Of course this story would come from someplace that is 30 miles from where I live. Nice to know that even where there are only a couple of people from MI on this site that a story can still make you embaressed to be from there.

    I’m left wondering a few things:

    How big was the fish? Panfish or walleye/pike? Was it frozen? Who’s fish was it?

    Why didn’t the first guy warn the second guy? Didn’t the first guy say ANYTHING? Is the second guy deaf? Or is she just quick-as-a-cat and clobbered’em both in a split second?

    Was she fishing alone? What’s she look like? Single? Prior police record?

    Just curious.

    From a guy who has fished that lake I will try and answer you questions as best I can.

    1. Fish was probly a smallis gill or crappie. No walleyes in that lake that I am aware of.

    2. As for the fish being frozen or not, couldn’t tell ya.

    3. Seeing as both guys got hit with a fish, quick as a cat thing is going to be my vote.

    4. She was fishing with someone else. Heard that from a guy who was on the lake at the time.

    5. As for how she looks, Fruitport is right next to Grand Haven. If you are ever in MI and want a great beach to go to, that would be my choice. Just to let you know. Grand Haven is where the beautiful people live. As for Fruitport, you have to cross a bridge and then train trax to get to is and the caliber of looks just plumits right along with property values.
