Here is a quote from the opposition to the up coming legislation – “Wisconsinites should be proud they are one of only two states that oppose carrying guns”!

    Time to rally the troops!

Concealed carry will be on the agenda for the first legislative session this year.

Time to contact your rep. and get their full support.

It doesn’t matter from what state your from but Wisconsin reps. need to hear where people stand on this issue.

The ones that oppose it will be making their voice heard loud and clear.

What can I as a Minn resident do to help? Just point the way.
    That quote is disturbing.

I’m asking my little WI birdie to find a district look up for phone numbers and email addresses.

Guys do we know what bill number this might be or are we just talking about open carry???

I just saw in our local paper an article where the 4 arresting officers of a woman carrying in church lost in court as they arrested her without cause. I’ll try to find a link to that story.

What exactly should they be proud of? Is the death by gun rate way down in those 2 states? Some people.

“If you carry a gun, people will call you paranoid. That’s ridiculous. If you have a gun, what in the hell do you have to be paranoid for.”

“You cannot save the planet but you may be able to save yourself and your
    family.”

‘The average response time of a 911 call is over 3 minutes….the response time of a .44 magnum is 1400 feet per second.’

to all the people who think we shouldnt have concealed carry put yourself in the criminals shoes. are you going to be more or less likely to commit a crime against someone if there is a good possibility they have a gun? i pick less likely. i say everyone exercises there right to OPENLY carry so they just pass the legislation to allow people to conceal their weapon so all the worry warts dont have to see it.

No doubt. In the most dire of circumstances you have nobody to count on but yourself and those around you. The only thing cops can do is try to figure out what happened after the fact.

Guns don’t kill people. Laws prohibiting carrying one for defense does.

That link is nice and I appreciate it but I still dont see a logical approach to support as a non-resident. I dont think we count?

Mike, do you ever drive through sconni?

People that live in MN and work in WI should be email calling.

Ever carry on the Mississippi river? Open carry on the WI side only!

    How’s that?

I have property there. I want to be involved and feel that I deserve to. I just dont see how I can be taken seriously officially as a non-resident. Those politicians dont serve me.

I going to put it as simple as I can….It’s all about ears and voices dude!!!
It’s a majority thing they listen too, they love to hear neighboring States support them, hopefully they pull together and come up with the best shared laws that will do us all good

hopefully they can push it through, and that they have reciprocity with MN would be even better!

To dissuade people from carrying guns shouldn’t the authorities ensure the state is a zero crie one? Just my two cents
