He was signing autographs at the Packer Pro Shop the Saturday before the Bears game. He had hundreds of people waiting to see him. I have to agree, pretty classy guy!!

I would say Majik’s biggest mistake was holding out.

He was injured immediately, Brent came in and Majik never returned to starting status.

That is a life lesson for sure…

Even though I don’t follow cheese nation, it was still a great video. I never knew GB had a great qauterback before Farve.

agreed, the “after further review” play was one of my highlights from those dreadful days. beating Chicago was a big stinkin deal back then..
he could weave a little magic but Favre was always going to be the franchise qb there. majik was a carry over from the Infante days..

and this a.m. on Mike & Mike, they pointed out that if Rodgers makes the Championship game against da Bears next weekend, he will be the first to do it with a name other than Starr or Favre. And then after da Norris beats Brady in da Super Bowl, I am going to be scratching my head trying to figure out how much parity there really is in the NFL…

Green Bay and Chicago in a snowstorm would be my dream game. that’s the real border battle there.

that was cool, and I will have to admitt. I have not always been a Packers fan, just since that 86 season. I thought Majik was the bomb, and living in Minnesota watching all those duds drinking the kool aid, there was no way i was going to cheer for the purple. That vid brought back memories.

Glad you picked the Pack Chomps . I was 12 years old when Majik went down and Favre came in. Still remember it as if it was yesterday. Time sure flies.

always great to see him walking the sidelines at the Packer games. Now that the great purple experiment is over, one day we will see Favre walking the sidelines again watching his old team. I’d say he would also visit Minneeeesooota, but they more than likely will be in Caleeeeeeforneeeea.
The California Vikings–kind of has a good ring to it.

    go Pack!!!!!!
