heart surgery

    Last Wednesday I had heart surgery… catheterization, laser ablation, and Pacemaker implant. This was the result of trying to deal with Atrial Fibulation for about three years.
    A lot of guys here have gone through some serious stuff over the years and I will just say I am thankful for the medical technology we have today. I am feeling better each day and will probably feel better by spring than I have in several years. (Walleyes Beware! )
    Six hours on the OR table changed my attitude on life…I am just glad to be here…

    Like I said in the email, don’t change too much. We need old feisty men on IDO to keep the pups inline.

    Good to hear your doing ok.

    Same day as the Oklahoma bombing I had a brain abscess and had it happen 10-15 years before that, I’d probably be dead now.

    Modern medicine does do some pretty amazing stuff.

    Been there. One of the top few things I’ve done in my life. How are the walnut thighs feeling?

    keep us posted, had a buddy just go through about the same thing, he lost a lot of weight and is stronger than before.

    I’m an engineer at Medtronic. I’m glad to hear everything went well. Hope this results in you catching more sumo eye’s and saugzilla’s! Can’t wait till the ice thaws.
