Just came home from work, crossing the bridge from Prescott into Mn, and the water resuce team from prescott and several members along with the hovercraft are active on the water. Being curious I stopped to view what was happening, I was thinking I hope it’s just practice but it’s dark and it doesn’t seem right, walked down to where the people are standing on shore, and was told you have to leave the area, this is not a drill…..Yesterday was the first day I noticed anyone driving out to the humps, not 4 wheelers but full sized pick ups, I hope it’s not anyone we all know.

That is sad and I certainly hope it wasn’t anyone or if it was hope they made it out

I called the BP station down there 15 minutes ago and they have heard of nothing. I’ve been thinking of hitting that spot lately…

    I wish . . .
office stress is gettin’ to me and it’s beginning to show (this goofiness on the web is just a little mid-day relief valve). . .
BUT, a beer and a bourbon would actually be the best antidote to make me LESS goofy right now.

Update…..I spoke with emergency personnel today about what I saw last night and I was told that it was a drill…I repeat it was a drill…..they were responding for training purposes only, I asked why I was told it was not a drill and they replied….we don’t know….sorry for any confusion that was caused or worries by anyone, I should know better than speak out of line. We do have a number of guys that fish in this area…I’m not sure if they drive out there or not.

I’m perfectly happy to know that it was a drill!

Just goes to show ya how damaging a drill can be. A brace and bit, and nobody would know for a couple days
