The Vikings name a new Head Coach and no one here has anything to say about it.

This HAS to be a better conversation piece than talking about a stadium that none of us will EVER have a say in.

C’mon Big G you must have something to offer about Leslie Frazier….

I would rather listen to Frazier than Chili in a press conferance, besides that, it will be a big rebuilding year And good Luck to Leslie. Go Vikes

With the season we had, all I can say is best of luck to Frazier and hopefully he can rebuild the team…
OF COURSE- giving McKinney a boot in his — would be a step in the right direction.

I had a chance to say hello and visit with Gayle Sayers this last summer as ‘Vikings camp’ was getting under way. He pretty much told me Leslie Frazier would become the head coach here.(how would he know?)BTW, Gayle Sayers, a very cooland classy guy!

You ain’t kiddin. Some of the dudes would make ok backups. I’m thinking Loadholt. He was like Flozel Adams this year. This spring they were buying frosting for last year’s cake. They also used up roster spots with Webb and Gerhart that didn’t really produce anything. If you get an awesome O-line and D-line, things will happen. You don’t need #28 to get 6 yards, you just need a hole in the line and a guy who doesn’t fumble. It might take a bit to get rid of the chilly ego madness.

Still, most teams would be happy to have one #28 or rice or harvin, no less all three.

i think frazier deserves the job, and if they were to pass on him, he would probably have left to go some place else. unless they had interest from cowher, gruden, parcells, etc, then frazier was the best option.

X2 on the line. Way too much credit is given to other parts of a team when in fact no one does anything in football without a good line. The guys up front do the heavy lifting. The skill positions do the clean up work whether on offense or defense. #28 will get you more yards but a solid ball keeper will get you plenty if the line opens up the holes.

I have held judgement on Frazier because I have not seen any press conferences or heard him speak publicly yet. Sounds like he was a popular choice with the players. Hopefully we don’t end up with another Tice.

He did say yesterday that he doesn’t see any scenario where he would go after #4 for next year. That has to make you feel good.

I wish they would have taken some time to see what else is available out there. Given that he has interviewed for 7 head coaching jobs already I’m not so sure he was going anyplace fast. You also got to remember it was his Def. that was a major part of the problem this last season. With all the holes that they have to fill I think it is going to be a few rough years for them no matter who is the coach.

For the record, Peterson only had one fumble in 2010. And that was a bad call by the refs. He very well should have had zero for the year.

I like Frazier. I think the team plays hard for him.
