Looking for anyone that has a good resort to fly into in northern Canada for trophy pike fishing. Don’t want to target any other species so the way I remeber the farther north you go the better the fish? I went to the all Canada show many years ago but don’t have any information left. Any websites that are good?

    thanks for any help!

Wollaston Lake has a very good rep for Trophies. A bit pricey, but if you got the funds that’s where I’d head.

God’s Lake Lodge has huge Northerns.
Bolton Lake Lodge has good northern fishing
Wollaston is also a prime spot but most expensive of the 3 mentioned.
I’d say God’s Lake Lodge is best bet to balance Unbelievable Northern fishing at a “reasonable” cost. All three are in Manitoba and are fly outs from Winnipeg and if you google lodge names their websites will pop right up.
    Just my 2 cents.

Book your trip and then come back here with photos and full report!!!

Depends on what a trophy is to you. Be aware that many of the lodges will have an additional fly-out to the premier fishing, usually those require additional charges.

I fished Lac La Marte in the NWT for 10 years, its under new ownership now and I do not know the owners (NWTfishing.com). Used to have a picture of my 30# fish on the old homepage. You need to fish the first week or two of the season if you want numbers of large fish (over 20#, 45″+). Our largest was 30.5#, longest was 50″ (two different fish).

Went to Knee Lake for a week once. The good northern fishing required a fly-out to the north end of the lake. Lots of 8-12# fish, a handful over 40″ in a weeks fishing, did not compare to Lac La Marte.

Midnight Sun Trophy Pike Adventures in Alaska can get into big fish, but success is tied to river flows and some years they do not do very well. A buddy of mine went there once or twice.
