Does anyone have either of the I PAD or the Galaxy tab? I have been planning to get one but I only know people that have the I PAD but no Galaxy tab. Everyone that I know loves their I PAD so I am torn!

That’s kind of like the iphone / android debate, only without the phone aspect. I’ve only played with both of them, do not own one. I liked them both equally, but don’t see a need for one personally. Go with the one that has apps you want. I prefer android apps over apple ones, so if I did get one, I would go android.
Heck, I’m still taking Bayer tablets 
I have an android Tablet made by Archos. I like it, I suppose it depends on what you are going to use it for! Mine gets used by my students at school for math apps and checking things on the internet, works fine! Also it is 16GB and cost 350 compared to Apples high prices. I don’t know that you could go wrong with either.
I just got my wife the iPad for Xmas. What sold me was the screen. To my eyes, in the stores, it seemed like it was better than the rest. The cost is ridiculous though. And the accessories are worse.
I for one don’t think the Andriod tabs are really comparable to the Ipad at this point I think really they will need another 6 months to a year to be in the same league. I think they are really going to need Andriod 3.0 to be comparable. Far be it from me to even try and say I’m an apple guy, but I think the ipad is the better choice at the moment. Though I think I want to hold out for a really good driod pad.
I am waiting for a good Android pad. I have an aversion to Mac. And as a Developer, I am more interested in open source, open market. But I would never steer anyone away from an iPad or any Mac products.
See I am so tainted I call it Mac, instead of Apple.
less expensive for more options, open source, more reliable OS, ability to multi-task, ever increasing app market, true internet browsing with Flash, front facing camera, N Wireless, MicroSD memory expansion.
if you compare the options, and the price to go with them, there really is only one true winner here.
