Kabetogama ice fishing

Anyone ice fish this body of water,gonna be staying there a week the end of this dec.,have portable and snowmobiles looking some general areas

I’ve only snowmobiled on Kab so I don’t know the hot spots but I do know it doesn’t get fished much at all. The only place I’ve seen houses is between the snowmobile portage to Ash River and what is called the houseboat channel. A few people spear in some of the bays too. Rainy actually is a better winter fishery. I think it’s still worth a try though. Good luck.

He is open year round for sleds and lots of guys spear that stay there for northerns so he might know a little more..
