Cooper or Hancook, just go with a standard radial tire ..no “snow” tires required.

Continental Touring is the best tire I ever had on my Taurus, I commute a LONG way and got almost 100,000 miles and they were excellent in snow

If you have the money and an extra set of wheels I would go with Blizzaks. Winter tires have a “sticky” soft rubber compound but don’t last long in the summer. In an all season I’ve had really good all weather traction with Yokohama and Michelin.

I like Michellin and Goodyear tires. Both are spendy…

Although I deals didn’t have a lot of choices for my rav4 I got the blizzacs, and they are nothing short of amazing. Don’t compare even the best all season tires to winter tires there is no comparison, didn’t fear getting stuck on once on saturday, though had of known how bad it really really was we would have stayed home. Winter tires are some of the best money you can spend in winter, one accident, alone wilcost you more than the tires alone. My wife thought I was a little crazy getting winter tires until sat, it saved our weekend.that alone was worth it.

Blizzaks are the bomb Most people do not realize what a winter tire will do for you… I went to a tire training seminar about a month ago, they showed a Blizzak “squealing” on glare ice, because it was trying to grip so bad… They explained the cost pretty good, winter tires will cost you exactly what it costs to change them out 2 times a year… about $110 a year. If you get 60K out of your all season tires, running winter tires 5-6 months a year, will stretch out your all season tires to last twice as long. The tire manufacturer did admit, they shot themselves in the foot, claiming “ALL SEASON” tire… compared to a snow tire, all season are nowhere near a winter tire…
