December 11, 2010 at 10:54 pm #916322I am so disapointed We only got maybe 2-4 inches here in St. Cloud. I have not seen a real snow storm in years. I was so excited or this and I got let down again
December 11, 2010 at 10:55 pm #916323I know exactly how he feels, my short little legs aren’t helping a lot either jerr
December 11, 2010 at 11:09 pm #916327The snowplow truck gets stuck in your driveway… finally got him out with help from another snowplow. Thankfully I didn’t have to work today. Spent the afternoon baking.
Stay safe everyone.December 11, 2010 at 11:10 pm #916328…..when the New York Giants plane is diverted to Kansas City and there might not be a game here tomorrow!

buck-slayerPosts: 1499December 11, 2010 at 11:24 pm #916331I love this. Don’t understand why people in cars are out in this stuff must be some good parties they have to get to.
December 11, 2010 at 11:38 pm #916333We pushed out 6 people today that were dumb enough to be out in cars. Even one 4 wheel drive Chev SUV was stuck. I would guess we have close to 16″ here now and still snowing. Well I measured the total on the patio table on my deck and have 15″

Here, too!
December 11, 2010 at 11:53 pm #916337North Hudson about an hour ago, not sure how much blew off the table but it gives you an idea
December 12, 2010 at 12:19 am #916354Some of us in cars and 2 wheel drive vehicles go out in this because we dont have a choice
Somebody has to get to the fire stations to staff trucks to help the people who decided they didnt want to stay on the road
December 12, 2010 at 12:23 am #916356I’ve snowblowed the driveways twice today and roof raked the house. The small garage door will not close due to all the weight on the roof. Left that for tomorrow and the 3rd round on the driveways. Just a warning break the roof rake out if you have them. For the weight now, but to prevent ice damns later.

Ditto here. Can’t shut the entry door on the garage. Ufda!

December 12, 2010 at 2:48 am #916379That’s tomorrow’s project. Moving snow is bad enough. Moving snow that you raked off your roof onto your sidewalk and front steps…that just sucks.

bigpikePosts: 6259December 12, 2010 at 11:45 am #916405……when you cant even make it to 5:00 Mass, when your 4 wheel drive vehicle gets stuck backing out of the drive, and the next street….The next big question is how long before the city of Eau Claire plows us out could be days…

HEY! Don’t be ripping on me…I wasn’t going to make her shovel AND go to the liquor store!
December 12, 2010 at 7:02 pm #916503Spent about 2 hrs claning up snow and still waiting for a plow in Eau Claire. Can’t wait to clean up the mountain at the bottom of the driveway….
December 12, 2010 at 9:37 pm #916522Keep in mind Floyd stands 36″ at the withers Good thing is the FW okayed a snowblower purchase.
December 12, 2010 at 10:33 pm #916548Its on national news you guys got pounded, the last pic says it all.
December 13, 2010 at 12:58 am #916638Tuffy, my pug, went off the edge of the step…twice. Looked like a dog panicking in quicksand. He was real careful were he stepped after that.
December 13, 2010 at 1:46 am #916657It’s unreal here in Winona, MN. I had to work both today and yesterday, and when I pulled into work yesterday at 9:30 the lot was clear, though we had already gotten 8-9″…When I came back out at 4:45, I had 2 ft drifts against my truck and we had about 8 more inches of snow. By 6:30 yesterday the report was that we had 15.9″ of snow. No idea what the final tally was but it was definitely over 20″, probably closer to 2 ft. best part was digging the truck out this morning, only to watch a neighbor pile the snow from her car onto the spot that I just cleared
