Driving Conditions?

Anyone been out and about SW metro and in to the cities.

I have gopher hockey tickets for tonight and i’m just wondering how bad it is from anyone that has been out driving today.

Buckshot…Was just out. A 4 wheel drive is a must I think…Front wheel drive on my dads Escape is no match for this stuff…
Also…Our cabin lake (SHHHHH…) has GREAT solid ice and the eyes’ are biting on all weedlines in the evening’s…RR

The hockey game tonight was cancelled until tomorrow at 4.

The game is canceled until tomorrow, but the basketball game was still on… so that doesn’t make too much sense since they are basically right next to each other…
But what a great game last night was! Hopefully they show up and play like that again Sunday!

Yup, saw that the game was cancelled. I just got in from snowblowing the drive way.

postpone a HOCKEY game!!! WTF!! This is Minnesota oh wait some have become SALLIES……

I’ve been out and driving is horrible! Side streets and highways are bad. Exit ramps are really bad! There are cars in the ditch or stuck at intersections everywhere. Just stay home. If you do go out, 4WD is a must, leave lots of room between cars, and turn on your GD headlights!

10-4 on the headlights,Ingy. I met a white car w/o his headlights on in this white stuff. Almost turned around to chase him down and kick his arse! Some people just don’t get it!!

Picked up my daughter from her aunts house and pushed out 2 mini vans stuck at a four way stop on the way……. One mom was a looker so we got that going for us

Unless you have a 4 wheel drive stay home. the plows cannot keep up with the drifting in Woodbury…..Stopped at Top Ten to pick up the Gin and Tonic for the rest of the day………..Gotta love a good BLIZ!!!!!!!

Same here. Was out twice this morning and many w/o Headlights. Too bad the cops were busy with all the people in the ditches, although I did not see anyone in a ditch, heard about many of them.

Put about 100 miles on today around the metro with no problems personally. Granted the truck was locked in 4 Hi all day, but for me its worth the extra price in gas to stay out of the ditch.

But it was actually nice to have the whole road to myself with limited traffic. I’m wondering if those smart car owners are using their gas savings over the summer on tow bills today.
