I have a sony viao and my replacement battery is larger than the original. 5200mah to a 10400 mah. do you think I will have a problem with the charger or current limiting in the computer. It is the same part number just more current.
Installation disk says could cause computer failure.
Any Idea’s? Help will be greatly apreciated.
    Thank You Stonecutter

no, you should be fine, if it is a OEM replacement part. a lot of laptops offer a standard battery, and then an “extended life” battery, which it appears you have gotten. it will take a little longer to charge, but will then also last you longer.
